    I just called the McNeil Inc website and got someone who answered a lot of questions for me. I spoke with Mike, and he said the kits to Tacos are bolt on, ready to go (minus painting if your doing that). Seems like a pretty easy process. Since I'm looking at getting a pair, I'm doin the research and it seems like the brands passed around most are: McNeil, Glassworksunlimited, and Feberxerx (sp?) [i guess theres trailer products but those dont seem to have good feedback]. Can others attest to what brand is the "best?" Looks like im leaning with McNeil, bad choice??

    Fiberglass,spindles, coils, 4"leafs, gears&locker, no skids :-/
    The are not bolt on. You have to drill out the holes in the fiberglass. Well I had to with mine. I have the McNeil 3x3. It kinda sucked because I thought the holes would be already drilled out and ready to "bolt-on". But sadly they weren't also had a little trouble fitting them correctly because on some of the tabs where you mount them by the door there was not enough fiberglass so I couldn't drill a hole.

    I have the trailer products glass. Fitment was pretty good, not perfect around the head lights but it lined up pretty well in general.

    I'm thinking about swapping them out for Glassworks when I purchase Glassworks bedsides.

    I emailed Trailer Products and this was the response I got back:

    "The fenders require drilling and maybe some trimming to fit. The fit is not like the steel fenders; there are gaps at the back and you will need to shim where the fenders fit under the hood. They do not have a street type fit, that is why they are only listed in the off road section of our web page.
    If you want an OEM type fit, I would suggest purchasing from someone else for this particular product."


    I appreciate his honesty and his description of the product was enough for me to look elsewhere.
