Ok, here's the thing. I've been lookin' around at all the rear bumpers out there and just can't find anything I like. The closest thing I see is the Road Armor but man that thang is expensive. I've been lookin' for somethin' that I can install work lights in, attach D rings, have a hinden winch, and still be able to stand on to get into the bed. I'm thinkin' about moddin' my stock bumper like cuttin' out holes for the lights and weldin' on the brackets for the D rings. I've seen on here some where a guy had a hidden rear winch with a stock bumper. If I did this, do I have to remove the spare tire so I'll have space for the winch? If anyone has done any of these mods to their stock bumper, please show your pics. Thanks.

Interesting, I've never heard of a hidden winch in a rear bumper before. I will recommend saving up for a plate bumper to do it to. The factory bumper is pretty flimsy and damages easily. I was surprised how little it took to bend the bumper.

Would hate for you to put the time and money into the factory bumper and then bend it up shortly after...

+1 stock is to flimsy for D rings. You could do the work lights and winch tho. The work lights can be cut in. The winch could be mounted independently of the rear bumper. Make a flip down rear plate and then fab a roller fair lead in a hitch mount maybe. That would keep any torque off the bumper. Just some ideas.

Yeah, I thought about it after I posted. I noticed one day that the left side was bent in a little and I pulled back in place with my hands. I tried to search for that pic of the hinden winch so I could post up. No luck. I did take a look at the brute force bumper. Looks cool but no hinden winch. I sent Billy a PM and asked him if he could do that. Waiting on a response. Thanks for the help guys. If anyone else has some advise, please do share.

Get some steel and weld up a custom bumper. Or hire a welder to do it for you.
You can make it just the way you want it.

After looking around some more I found this pic. It's a relentless bumper and I kinda like it more. I really like the work lights.
