Would you buy a low mileage Tacoma from someone who had passed away?

uhhhhh.... ya. I mean, as long as you're being respectful to the family or whoeve is selling it to you. and if you're really getting it for a good price maybe do something a little extra nice for them (flowers, or what not). Just because the individual passed away doesn't mean their vehicle is cursed..

maybe look at it like you're giving the taco a good home.

I'd want my taco to go to someone that appreciates taco's and would treat it with respect if I passed. Would much rather that than it be sold to some scumbag dealership and auctioned off.

I once bought a 1980 F150 from a widow. She was thrilled to sell the thing to someone who wasn't low balling her on the price and genuinely planned to take interest in it. I drove it for years without complaints before selling it at the same price I bought it for

I'd buy the vehicle. I'm failing to see how karma has anything to do with it unless you're taking advantage of the family's grief and lowballing them.

 

Even then you can get a killer deal on a car.

My buddy got a BMW z3 1 year after it was released for less than 10k with about 3k miles on it.

Granted some drug dealers brain got splattered in it, but they cleaned it up good and got all the chunks of skull and brain out of it. He had it 3 years, no smells or issues with it at all. Sold it for a lot more than what he paid, win-win.

maybe the OP killed the owner and is moving in for the good deal. then karma applies. if you didnt kill them, karma has nothing to do with it.
