I just spoke with the ARB rep in the states yesterday. Apparently 12 arrived this week and another 62 were on a boat destined to be here next week. I was able to put an order in for one through my supplier, should be ready to install in a few weeks time. Anyone have one installed yet with pictures???

^^^ that one was an older style modded to work on a 2012.

i dont like the 2012 ARB's... stick out WAY to far in my opinion. plus you have to cut your factory bumper to 'cap' the ARB

with that said. i had an ARB bumper on my last jeep and it was INCREDIBLE as far as strength, quality, function, and ARB's customer service was second to none. Would love to have one on my taco but not if it looks that bad

The modified earlier model looks infinitely better than the actual 2012 model to me. I hate how it is just basically sitting out in front of the normal 2012 bumper. I was going to order one as my Christmas present for myself and powdercoat it white to match my TX PRO, as I thought it would look slick. Now it looks like it will just make the nose of the vehicle look like the Daytona Superbird. What a downer.

I'll wait till I see pictures of the released production version installed on your truck before I consider ordering one. I sure hope that capped version was another attempt to make a different year model fit a 2012 and that the 2012 has a clean fit and finish. I can't imagine that ARB would butcher such a good thing and throw their reputation away.

Meanwhile I am driving around on-road and off-road with my Pelfreybuilt 2012 Plate Bumper that looks good, fits good and houses a new Warn M8000 winch, AND was made right here in the USA.

That being said, it was the earlier ARB bumpers that first made me want an aftermarket bumper, and I hope the new 2012 version looks good for you guys waiting for it!

Does the Pelfreybuilt maintain all of the airbag sensors and such? I know ARB's bumpers lets all of your equipment work normally as designed, but a lot of aftermarket bumpers don't assure that all safety equipment works.

yes airbags all 'should' work with the pelfreybuilt. airbag sensors work on inertia not sensor damage. take that advice at will.. im not responsible if yours do or dont go off :D

Honestly... I'm guessing it was put together by West Coast Customs. Have you seen some of the garbage those guys churn out? The show is kind of funny, just because they are so incompetent and have to apologize for never meeting the target date, and just general poor planning and execution.

I've read about quite a few lawsuits from bad work they've done. They have no real understanding of things like handling and torque. They are into horsepower and "branding" by getting their logo all over everything and creating partnerships with other companies that are not that great in their market.
