The 2 round plastic nut covers that protect the step always fall off, so I got rid of them and used a Thick Rubber Diamond plate stick on material and added some extra 3M Vinyl Adhesive for weather stripping and its Solid, I got 2 in a pack at Home Depot, If you can find it longer than what they sell, go for it so you can cover the whole step, Im missing the sides because they were not long enough to do this. No more slipping and no more missing caps and I dont notice that the nuts are under there as it sits very flush.

Wow, thats a tough one?> I looked at H Depot site and could not find it, I did buy it in person there though. Its located in 2 places pending on the store, The Paint Aisle and in the Hardware Aisle, sometimes near the tool boxes, and some stores in the Tool Krib. It comes in a 2 pack, only in Black and is Rubber not skateboard sandpaper type grip. Apply it with alot of weather glue on both the rubber piece and the bumper, apply generously and let dry to the tacky touch, then mate, also best to do it in the Hot heat.

sorry I dont have the brand

Yes, because I surf everyday, Its easy to put my Keys and fob in there and not worry about any keys, I also have a Tuffy Security Safe in the left side of the Bed where the Big stock storage door is, I removed the whole thing and set in the Tuffy Safe, so I can always just store my keys with Fob in there and just keep the Tonneau cover key in the hitch lock box, many combinations to be safe.
    cheers

Hell its great for anytime you dont want to have keys with you, There is A Rubber Guard that goes over it, I just took it off for the photo. If anybody buys 1 of these, make sure you get the version for our trucks with tow hitch as the lock bar is a little bit longer due to the extra washers welded to the hitch, you can even get 1 after the fact from Amazon.

are there other options on where to get that rivet that's holding the plastic on? At one point I lost the that same plastic cover, but I also lost one of the stupid rivets that holds that plastic.

Yes the dealer has the rivets and there $2 or $3 each.

A delivery truck bumped me at a stop and it crushed that plastic rivet.
