    hey,

this is more of a question about a product, but also asking for info on said product and similar items, i am looking at getting a blue tooth OBD2 scanner, one that is compatible with an iphone, so i can store it up inside my dash connected to my obd2 port at all times and can check my phone (app) and see my read outs at all times.

i know there are many different companies that produce said product, but i am wondering if any of you have tried them, and if you have any info on them, or warnings about them.

i am running a 96 4runner, obd2 is under dash (up and to the right of gas peddle)

any info or concern would be greatly appreciated. also if you have a preferred company or blue tooth scanner that would also be appreciated.

    thank you for you're time

yea i found out why there isnt any for the iphone, apple trademarks there bluetooth, so any app creator, or obd2 creator would have to pay for the rights to use it. my brother has a galixy 2 so we are going to get the elm327 and the torque app for it, also when we get the obd2 i am going to get the CD, so i can use my laptop when he isnt around. thanks for the info guys. other than that how do you guys like it?
