Discount broke my sensor, installed an aftermarket and tried to program and didn't really work. I gave up on it because fuck TPMS. I still love Discount, they've treated me well enough I can overlook that, especially because fuck TPMS anyway.

    Just saying...

I dealt with an older guy named Rick at 4West in Colton. He was nice enough but.....
Like I said, it was probably a combination of me not having done enough consumer research to really know what to expect and him capitalizing on that. Sounds like rubbing is normal. It also sounds like usually the shop would do proper calculations and order the correct size tire...but obviously not every time. Sounds like breaking a valve stem happens. I just would have thought they would have replaced it and taken it to get recalculated without me having to get tough about it. I had them do everything, the lift, tires, wheels, step. Spent alot of money. Just thought the customer service could have been better. They sure were glad to see me gone.

Love the truck and the look. I have an app to take it in else where to have the allignment done next Monday when I'm off work.

Biggest negative for me was that the whole thing felt like an arm wrestle, which it should not have. Forward and onward. I'll try to take some pics today and post them tonight. Yeah, I like Toyota of Redlands better too. The 4West is just a couple of miles away from SB so they went there to get the valve stem/sensor.
    :p

Who are you taking the truck to for an alignment? Not every place can do/or has experience in lifted trucks or 4x4's. Best to check ahead of time to make sure they do lifted trucks:)

It is pretty normal to have a little rubbing on the plastic liner when you upgrade your wheels with less backspacing and taller than factory spec tires. With the lift on, if they went with a smaller tires, to minimize any rubbing, it would probably look a little funny. It's too bad they made your experience a lot tougher than it should have been, but I'm glad you made them take care of it. Sometimes you just have to stand your ground and any shop that really cares about their reputation should take care of it.

You can't miss the shop. I work right behind them. They have 2-3 crazy ass Jeeps posted on huge rocks in their parking lot.

Sadly IMO it's pretty typical everywhere. If it's not broken sensors it's damaged wheels. They're slinging tires like a bunch of monkeys, and I can definitely understand why but guess it's up to management to make it right when someone calls em on it. Sucks but I guess I get it.

Went there yesterday. The guys did my alignment and offered to spray paint the white lettering on the tires black. They were already turned around, just not blacked out. Pretty nice. Thx for the recc.
