:) You may want to remove the metal cover they installed over the opening on your horn. It makes the horn twice as strong, but it is still a weak horn for a truck. Air horns might make it stronger for you. Good Luck.

I did this a while ago. I used a electric horn set from a highway bus. The set had a 2 wire harness, ran ground wire from harness and attached to horn to frame mounting bolt. Then cut off the OEM horn harness end and soldered in power wire from new harness. It,s not air horns but it makes people look, every quickly.

thanks for reply. have not looked at mine yet, i guess each horn has two connections, one side is the ground and you took it to the body and the other side is power [hot]. any problems with the fuse and or did you install a relay. thanks

the OEM horn has only 1 wire on the harness. On the new horns Positive (hot) on horn to OEM wire and a jumper for ground. Do not have to change or add fuses or relys. Works great I have done my kids Matrix and Camry. When going to parts store they might sell them in sets or individual horns so check and get the loudest Db number possible . If you can only get single horns then wire in 2 wires from postive (hot) 1 to each horn and ground to ground

I just traded in my 03 for a 13. The horn on the 03 was much more loud than the Toyota Yaris horn on the 13.
