Needed: a good in cab 110V "how to"

Hi, I did a search and found a few threads about this mod but not a step by step install of it.

I would like to install 110V outlets in the cab.

I would really want to tie into the factory inverter. Does anyone know if this is possible or will it mess things up with bed outlet?

 

I think using the factory inverter would trip a fuse if you have more than one appliance running. It's really only good for like running a blender.

My setup is fairly simple, I have a 1000w cobra inverter underneath my drivers seat. I ran a line through the center console and out to the battery. Hooked my ground up underneath the center console. I need to do a permanent mount, but it works great, my boy uses it all the time while we are traveling. I added 12V outlets in the back seat area too.

 

It probably would not be hard to tie into the factory inverter if you wanted. AC power is quite easy to route around, just tie into the line and put an outlet where you want.
