Picking the truck up on Tuesday...trading in a MKV GTI. My last truck was a Dodge Dakota and I always loved the utility. I have enjoyed the sportiness of the GTI (thought I would have it for life but while fun, it lacked the utility that my growing family required).

Upgrading the tires ( BFG AT/TA P265/70/17)....side rails and skid plate.

    Two questions,

    - 5100's...I know I want to do the front at 1-.1.75.... 2013's (Canada) should have the rear TSB, would I need 5100 on the rears to level....
    - BFG Tires....told them white lettering out because I couldn't envision how it would look. I'm thinking lettering in now. I may have to change it later.....what do most do?

I'll post pictures next week.....love the site!

    Welcome to TW!

    1. The springs will determine how high the back sits, not the shocks. The stock shocks will work fine but you might want to look into changing them for a different ride quality.

    2. I'm a fan of the lettering being on the outside. I love how my KM2's look with the lettering out. Maybe once you have the truck spend a day in the driveway with a case of beer and stare at the tires? I know I've spent time just looking at my truck figuring out what I want a certain thing to look like.

I'm jealous of the Spruce Mica! That was the color I wanted when I was looking for my Tacoma but when my old car decided it was done, my decision got rushed. Enjoy it!

Good choice; nice truck. I think that's the color I'll pick next time around.

Man, I've been looking for a Tacoma in Spruce Mica for a few months now. Those trucks are NOT easy to find.

They were just the OEM 4inch toyota side steps. I can't believe the comments I've had from people over the colour. I remember years ago I rented an Orange Dodge Grand Caravan and took it to the backwoods of Nova Scotia....people would run over to ask about it.....so yeah....it's like that.....only not Orange.
