So i took my front flaps off about a year ago. Needless to say, the bottoms of my doors are chipped to $#!t. I stopped in our local rhino lining place and talked to the man there. He said he will not do color matched because they fade and look like donkey poo. He quoted me $1200 for the bottom of my doors and fender flairs with a 3 day turn around. I tried to find other members with a 2nd gen white 3" lifted with 33's. Thoughts....

For the price I'd say it's definitely not worth it! Buy a DIY kit!

I'm going to use Rustoleum bedliner and do the same thing to mine eventually. I'm just waiting to see if it fades on my bed rails. Heck even if it does, it's only $8 a can so even if it does fade you can spray one thin coat and it'll look new again!

I wouldn't use plastidip for rock protection... I love the stuff but I'd want something a little more durable.

Many Brands make DIY kits such as these...

In my opinion Rustoleum looks the best! It looks like matte finish black with just a little texture. Honestly I'd just go buy 3-4 cans of rustoleum spray like this:
    Rustoleum Bedliner
Then just tape the area off, sand it, then clean it off with some cleaner, and paint away!

It's not a 2nd Gen Taco, but here is one I did bedliner (from an aersol can) on a 1996 I help restore. And of course, it is not Super White either.

Got this idea online somewhere (maybe on here. can't remember). I only did 3 coats. Looked thin, but it looked great.

I wouldn't DIY bed line any part of the truck body. It just doesn't hold up as well as real Line x in the sun, or as durable IMO. That's really not a horrible price considering the amount of prep work(sanding, taping etc) just make sure you go with the UV resistant premium liner.

    Line x > Rhino liner
