I have an 06 access cab 2.7 4wd with stock 16 inch steel wheels. Am wondering whats the best way to lift it 3 to 6 inches. The majority of my off road driving is out in the hunting areas in sugar sand dirt and water covered muck. I also daily drive it 45 miles a day on highway to get to work. Money for bigger rims is not anywhere in the near future, so any good advice would be appreciated .

    That.

Check out Toytec for one of their kits with 5100s or the OME kit.

If you can't even afford rims - you can immediately rule out any 6" lifts.

it is a six lug 4 cylinder, i ruled out the six inch lift due to the wheels and the fact that i dont want to cut the frame. Am researching the pro comp, bilstien, and ome three inch kits. Not sure about blocks for the rear but AAL sounds good and cheaper than new spring packs.

pro comp springs are too stiff for a four-banger.

    OME or 5100/eibach.

If you go OME go 884 or 885 springs. 886 are designed for V6 with bumper and winch.

Was just on the toytec site, the prices arent too bad for the ome kit or the bilstein kits with the AALs for the rear. For looking at others builds looks like something i should be able to do in a day,day and a half as long as i have all parts on hand to start with
