Hey guys. I figured i would throw this out there for anybody looking for a set of trail team wheels for a good price. I thought it was a good price at least for brand new. I just recieved my set from this seller. Im extremely happy with them. They are actual trail team wheels, not replicas. They even included lug nuts. It only took about 5 days to get them. Looking forward to getting my tires mounted on them.

Heres a link to a set he has up right now.

Toyota sells them now so ebay is swarming with listings. Frankmotors (dealer in socal) has the cheapest price at $640 + shipping +tax (if in CA).

I still find people selling used sets for more than what you get new ones for. This is the best deal ive seen for new in awhile on ebay. I paid $699 shipped from the seller for mine. For some reason every set he has is set at a different price.

Just ordered a set of these. Cheapest price I found online was $143 each + shipping. Called my local dealer who had them listed for $170. They price matched the $143, so having to pay the tax cancels out the shipping and I'll have them tomorrow ($600 OTD).

Now I need to decide on tires. I plan on doing a lift at some point within the next year but thinking maybe I'll just stick with 265/75/16's to avoid trimming, etc. The discount tire deal has me thinking I should order some Duratracs. Does that deal come around often or should I jump on it now? Or, should I just swap my Rugged Fails (7k miles) on the new wheels until they are shot?

Or do I just get 285's and let them sit until I get the lift (assuming the discount tire deal is somewhat rare)?

Check out the deals section. $100 off $400 purchase through discount tire's ebay store. I did two transaction of 2 duratracs. So $200 off of 4. Total came to $660 with free shipping (you'd then have to pay $64 to get them mounted and balanced at a local store). Plus there's a $60 rebate on Goodyears right now.

Frank Motors Toyota came out to $608 ($144.50 per wheel plus shipping to CO). So I basically saved $8 but got them local and essentially next day shipping.

Curious, did dealer require a VIN to purchase the Trail Teams?

My dealer couldn't get them and even if they could, they said the wheels would be like $400 a piece! I guess they are hard to get in Canada??

They make replicas of these...? Random, never seen them.

Well am sure in todays world you can buy/make a replica of anything.
But like mentioned above for $150.00 per wheel, I'd rather buy O.E.M.

Good buy, O.P. post pictures when you got them mounted up.

The parts price differences are incredible between the US and Canada. I buy nearly every factory part I require from the US due to the price difference. An example is the Highlander Heated Mirror switch for the Tacoma Mod. $62.00 US or $120 ish here in Canada. The mirror panels were closer to the US price.

I know some co-workers who order their wheels out of the US in order to save some money. Even after shipping this would be worth investigating the US price.
