I have been shopping for a few months for a used truck to replace my 1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4 v6 (my 2 young girls' car seats did not fit in it). Decided to go with this 2005 Tacoma SR5 4x4 double cab. Surprisingly I loved the only manual, double cab, v6, 4x4, and under 20,000$ tacoma that was available under 200 miles away. Anyhow, what should be my first mod? I don't plan to do any real off roading, just looking at either "looks" or better MPG/performance.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Personally, I'd black out that bull bar, the chrome just seems out of place on that truck.

Nice looking pickup though, I love the color!

Thanks, I am going to take that bar off. I have been trying to look around to figure out what kind it is so that i can price it accordingly.
I think i will put that money (if i can sell it) towards a set of billy 1500's to level the front. Or a new head unit with USB port so i can play my music. But looking at the stock set up, it looks like a job.

Welcome! Indigo ink FTW! Nice ride. If you don't like the bull bar, take it off. Lift and bigger tires? :D

It would probably cost 50$ to ship. I think i will throw it on craigslist. I think i will level it, probably no lift. And a very modest size tire. I use to have a wrangler with a 6 inch lift and 35's. I was always jealous of the guys with the "slightly aggressive" look, rather then what i was sporting.
