Hey everyone! New to this forum, not new to forums though.

I just bought a 2013 Tacoma Sport! I was deciding between a few different trucks but ended up going with the Tacoma as I have been a big fan of Toyota's, and overall I thought it was the best buy...I got it for a great price as well. Now just have to wait for it to arrive in 2-3 weeks Lame I know, but it is what it is

This will be my first truck. I drove a little coupe before this but decided I could use a truck with the hobbies I'm into. Right now, it will just be used as my daily driver as well as transporting firewood/backpacking/motorcycle towing/skeet shooting on the weekends, but I would like to get into some light offroading in the future. I can't say I can take apart an engine and put it back together but I hope to become a bit more mechanically inclined with the purchase of my truck - I, like most new owners, already have some mods I'd like to install in the near future.

I've been lurking on this forum for a few weeks, looking at different builds and mods and whatnot and have already learned a few things. I absolutely love forums, tons of information on them and enjoy the community atmosphere as well.

Looking forward to being another member on here...

    Thanks guys!

A quick update...already lol. I was kind of kicking myself for not looking into a manual trans for my truck. All the dealers I went to kind of passed off the idea because getting a Tacoma in stick is apparently very very difficult. So I went back to the dealer I got my truck from and they were really willing to work with me in trying to find a manual Tacoma. They could only find 1 DCSB in a 300mi radius and said that probably won't work out...plus it was in silver and I was not a fan of that color. Then they said a blue access cab in stick will be arriving at the dealer in about 2-3 weeks. I said that's perfect...I don't mind losing some room in the rear going from a double cab to an access cab as I gain that extra foot in the bed.

So I am now getting a 2013 Tacoma Sport w/ access cab in blue. A LOT happier now than I was on saturday!

Thanks! And yes, from the 24/7 lurking I've done on this forum for the past few weeks, I really haven't seen many nautical blue's...it's a really nice color that I'm surprised more people don't have. But that's fine with me!
