Yeah... I wouldn't be driving down the street with the changing color... especially with red and blue colors in there. That would likely fall into "impersonating an emergency vehicle"

Definitely a custom job. I usually don't like crazy lights and halos on these trucks, but I like these. It's different, and very clean install.

I have looked as some of the parts and materials to build these and have considered doing them. Is there any chance someone has a spare set of 1st and second gen light housings that they are willing to spare for free? If I can get it to work, then the donor(s) will get the first set for free. I won't be doing the xenon headlights, but am looking at the halo. PM me if you would be interested. All I would ask is that if you pay shipping costs of your housings to me, and back.

Red or blue, even green in some locations WILL get you pulled over instantly and a large ticket. If they pulse (link not working at work) you are just asking for major trouble, including having your car impounded.

Pretty sure white / amber is street legal. Check your local laws regarding that though.

^ Ran with the halos on every time I got in the truck. The LEO's in my town are a little over zealous, to put it nicely, about things like that and I never had one problem. You can't really tell there but they are blue.
