Hi everyone, I've been dreaming of having a Tacoma for over 10 years, and this week it finally happened!

I got a new 2013 TRD 4x4, and naturally with 10 years of thinking about it, know exactly what I want the end product to be, so I will be dropping it off this weekend for it's makeover..it will go in a boy and come out a man!

I will be getting a pro comp stage 1 6" lift, 35x12.50 Toyo Open Country MT's, 20" black XD Rockstar wheels, black n-fab step bars, hypertech module to correct spedometer, and a Grillcraft 2 piece black mesh grille and add the chrome TRD emblem to the corner of the grille.

I also thought about re-gearing but figured I'd hold off until after I see how it drives..my thoughts are since I haven't driven it but a couple days, maybe I won't know the power it used to have and therefore won't miss it as much as if I'd been driving it for a while..we'll see how that works out. Plus I'll have quite a bill from all this, the wife might kill me if I were to toss that whopper of a cost on top of it all!

So, here is how the taco sits for now..drop it off this weekend and will get it back on Wednesday..going to be a great day! I will post before and after pics in the build section, but thanks for all the information that everyone has provided in the forums, it was truly an invaluable resource for getting mods together!!

    Jeff

Congrats! Actually going to be buying my first Tacoma this weekend if the dealer gets it right. Thinking very similar setup. Curious about final height. Really want to put this truck in garage. Last truck was too long. Would be horrible if it ended up being too tall this time. Can't wait to see your's done. If you can take a sec and measure how tall it will end up being that would be much appreciated.

Nice! You may defiantly want to get it regeared. 4.10s and 35s don't usually go to well.
check out east coast gear supply.
