What's Air Freshner?

As the title states, what is the smell of your truck's cabin? Are you the guy at the lights whose truck oozes Armani or the guy rocking a million "tree" air freshers on the rear view mirror?


This is purely out of curiosity.

I personally put a CS-X3 "Squash" into my truck as soon as the "new" car scent disappeared.

99% of the people that get in my vehicle love this smell.

 

I did the same thing. I had that air freshener in my last car and moved it over once I couldn't smell the new truck scent anymore. I like to switch up scents every once in awhile otherwise I get too used to it and don't notice.

I agree, it's gotten to the point where 5 minutes after driving I don't notice my air fresher I might try ppham444 recommendation of Orange next. Any other recommendations?

 

I have squash air freshener under my seat so my passengers can't smell my farts.

This post reminds me that I have to remove the 2 dead partridge from under my passenger seat . They have been there since september of 2012 .
I was wondering why my air fresheners didnt last .
I use the stuff they use in police cars . Thats some kick butt freshener

I have the wet dog marsh scent with a hint of a truck that has had water over the door speakers.

 

I always get this from Walmart. Smells really great. Last for a couple weeks/up to amonth. I've used My Shaldan before in lime scent. But some how it gave me headache and it had that lingering smell.

 

I occasionally catch the last embers of the new car smell, I want that back! but I havent seen that scent anywhere. cant decide what other smell id like instead tho. *shrugs*

New vehicles don't have that intense new smell they used to have. It was something about the off gassing of the vinyl and it supposedly was bad for you to breathe.

 

Blood, sweat, urine. Okay not a whole lot of blood and urine in there, but the fragrance is all natural, just depends on what my 2 & 4 year old leave wedged in the smallest crevices known to man.

 

Last time I got in it smelled like a mix of wet dog and Chinese take out. ...definitely needs something.

When my wife's Jeep got back from the body shop a few weeks back there was a small rectangular card wedged in one of the vents. It smelled like the blue trees I used to use. I'd like to find some of those.

 

I got nothin. It currently smells like my new Weathertech liners. I keep it clean, so it never smells bad.
