I lifted my truck 2" with 5100's. I also added after market rims and 265/70/17 tires. I like the setup. Here is my question. Will the stock flat tire jack work with my lift and new tires? Should I keep a couple 2*4's in the truck to prop it up. Will my stock 265/65/17 alloy spare get me home? Will my stock spare work with my new skinny lug nuts for my after market wheels?
    Thanks Guys

Personally I have never used the factory jack to see how far it goes up. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to have like a piece of 2x6 or 2x8 to use as a base for the factory jack to sit on. The lug nuts shouldn't be a problem either, you could take one off the truck and compare the "seat" with a stock one. As long as the seat is the same style your after market lugs should work as long as they are long enough.

For the spare tire working what tire size is your new tires? If the same then yes. For example if stock was 265-65-17 and you went to 265-70-17 these new tires are slightly bigger. As such if you got a flat you'd want to put the spare on the front (coast) axle and not the rear (drive) axle. Also don't drive with the truck like this longer than necessary. If you put the larger tire on the rear (drive) axle you can over work the differential and can cause problems. Expect to have a slight pull due to the smaller spare being on the front (coast) axle. Granted you shouldn't use a smaller tire as a spare but in this case it isn't very drastic. And yes don't use 4-hi or 4-low either.

My after market lug nuts look kinda like the pitcure below so the seat is not the same. I should probably get some factory lugs to have around. Anyone know where I can get some or which ones they are for the 17' sport rims. Also. if I got a spare tire to match my new set 265/70/17. Will it fit under the truck?

You can go to any parts store and buy a set of factory lug nuts for cheap. Keep them in a ziploc bag with your tire tools. The 2" lift and slightly taller tires won't make too much of an issue with your factory jack. Keep a block of 2X6 wood or two with your tools to be safe. Your tire size difference from factory is not very big. You can use the factory spare, but take into account that your traction control and or ABS system will notice the difference in rotational speed and may balk. I would suggest looking up the ABS disable mod in the forums here and consider the use of that. Personally I would only suggest activating the mode if you are running your spare, as I am a big supporter and believer in ABS systems.

Good to know. Im going on a road trip tomorrow. I will cut a block of wood and stop by the auto store for the lugs. I will look on craigslist for a used tire 265/70/17 in the future. That way my spare is the same size. Anyone know if it will fit under the truck?

I have a similar setup and had a flat!! The stock jack w/ your larger tires will NOT work unless you have 2x4s or something to put under it. Hi-Jack investment maybe!! Thats my next purchase. I had stock tires luckily and the jack was completely maxed out and I barely got the damn tire off. No clue on a larger tire fitting under the truck, but your stock spare will work it will just be sitting funny till you get the flat fixed.

If you do, just remember you don't want to engage that axle...

I don't know where you're jacking at but with a full 3" lift & 33" tires the stock jack works for mine without anything under it.
If you try to lift it by the frame no it wont work.
If you lift it by the LCAs or axel yes it will.

    Lots...
This! but a lot of people don't like to do it... in an emergency you just need to solve the problem!

Either way I like to have my hilift, 1 minute and the truck is up :) 5 minutes and you already have changed the flat tire :D
