Overall length is 28", just fits my spare 33. Not a whole lot of room to play with in the bed

No, there is not. Post some pics with it mounted with the tire on. What material did you use, powder coat or paint in the future.

1" square steel stock,3/16 thick. And a piece of angle iron to mount to the bed. Im Going to just paint it flat black. It's a quick thrown together thing. Ill construct a better one in the near future and put some time into it.

The base angle iron that mounts to the bed is 42''(width of the bed) over all height of the rack is 17 1/2'' (hight of the bed) so it sits flush with the rails of the bed. The angled bars that support the tire i made 32" and spaced them 8" apart and the two cross bars i put in the middle and spaced them 51/2 inches to center so i can mount studs to them in the future and the rim will bolt right down to it. No measurements are really crucial it was just a quick project i came up with one afternoon. I hope it helps!!

I have an access cab so with the longer bed I might bring it off my toolbox if i don't buy a soft top. Thanks
