Ok folks, bear with me. I did search but couldn't come up with a specific answer, not even in the manual. I purchased my truck used and it did not have the factory wheels on it. It has American Racing Trench 16's (16" x 8", +12 Offset, 6x139.7 Bolt Pattern, 78.3mm Hub) per website, with BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain 265/75/R16. So, here is my question. I was going to compare these to factory to see where I was at. In the Owners Manual, it shows rim/tire size by "Type" A, B, C, D, E. See below: Sorry for the huge pics. Anyways, what I can't find is which "Type" I have??? It is a 2010 DCSB TRD OR 4X4. I have found several threads about show your truck with xyz size or whatever but not this. I would assume that I have Type C and not Type B (only 2 choices with 16'' rim) but either way.

I also found this website: http://www.tacomahq.com/161/original-tacoma-tire-size/ and I believe for 05-11, A, B, C, D, E would go in order of the chart... Any insight is appreciated.

Well there ya go. Worst case scenario, I will be putting on the same size tire when the time comes but I figured I would clear it up while I was thinking about it.

I think you'd have Type C from the factory. Nice looking truck!

    Absolutely, TRD OR = 265/70/16 on a 16x7 wheel.

That's what your truck would look like with the original wheels it came with.

Gotchya, thanks. I like the factory wheels better than the ones on it. If anyone wants to trade...I would be interested in working something out.

I'm sure you won't have any trouble trading. Those wheels are always for sale in the classifieds. I sold my set on Craigslist with 850 miles on them for $840. I'm sure you could easily score a better deal if you were willing to wait.

Just post a WTB/WTT thread in the classifieds and go from there.

Mikey speaks the truth. I see factory TRD rims on Craigslist around here all the time for a decent price. Guys getting something new and wanting to get rid of their factory ones.

Thanks, will do. I don't have any close up pictures yet so I will grab some tomorrow when I get to work and there is some daylight. There is nothing wrong with them, I am just not really a chrome rim fan.
