I'm looking for a great looking tire that would good as a daily driver on the roads. I have it down to Duratracs, Kelly TSR's or Toyo Open Country 2's. Which one is better?

I just got Safari tsr on Friday. So far I am very pleased! Not nearly as much road noise as I thought. In fact, with my radio at normal volume, I can't even hear them.

I got them ultimately because my good friend owns a tire place and that the tire uses on his personal jeeps. He is an avid offroader. He swears by them. So I took his word.

They balanced great! And they tear it up when you need them to.:D

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
The Kelly tsr's are made by Goodyear and Are very similar to the duratracs. I have 315/75/16 tsr's and my brother in law has the same size duratracs, they have the same amount of siping and the outer tread is similar, but the tsr's don't have the tighter inner tread that the duratracs have. I love my tsr's and will get them as long as they are available unless someone come out with an affordable skinny 35.

Took stock tires off at 400 miles and put the Toyo AT2's on. Very pleased. They are 265/70-17

Tint, EGR In Channel visors, Access-Lorado tonneau, Tacoma bed mat, Plasti Dip Badges, Tailgate mod, Fog light anytime mod, Toytec (TTHA-CK) 3" lift kit w/height adjustable coilovers, 5100's w/Eibach coils, TSB AAL, LR UCA's, CB drop kit, Diff drop kit, XD spy's on 285/70/17 Duratrac's
I just put on the Duratracs, 285/70/17 and no regrets. I had it narrowed down to these and the Open Country 2's, both the AT or MT. Mine is also a daily driver and mostly a mall crawler. I went with the Duratracs because the OC 2 MT looked too aggressive for road only and their AT wasn't as aggressive as I wanted. The Duratracs seemed to be right in-between, and I got a great deal on them. So far I'm happy with them, I did loose approximately 2-2.5 MPG due to the 3" lift and these wheels, but that would have been with any tire that size. All the tires your looking at are good, its gonna be a personal choice. Good luck

I was looking at all three of these exact tires last month. I ended up going with the Kelly Tsr's in a 31/1050-15. i really like them alot. I have taken them on a few ski trips so far and they have done awesome in the snow and are super smooth and super quiet on the highway.

Haven't had an issue yet. This truck stays in the pasture all day so i've ran into some holes and mud. I am suprised they cleared the mudflaps though. I ordered a 5100 lift today... still needs to go up.

Just be aware that the p or LT don't look as aggressive as the Extremes....

I have run open country A/T's on all my rigs. Quiet tire, balances good and handles good. Only tire I would replace it with would be a bfg.

I'm a big Toyo fan. Ran them a few times(both AT and MT), and the new AT II's seem better than the original. Do your LT's feel stiff? What psi are you running?
