Is (Boise) Idaho part of the Pacific Northwest?

So for some reason OZ-T aka Peter north has insisted that Idaho is not part of the Pacific Northwest. Every map I have looked at shows, at least Boise where I live, is in fact part of the PNW. So Tw cartographers? Is idaho in the pnw?

Boy howdy that was fast oz.

There are two key words, pacific and northwest. It does not need to touch the pacific, to be part of the Pacific Northwest region, because the terrain and climate is similar to the other states in the pnw, like Oregon an Washington, hence why it is included.

 

Some say Pacific NW and some say Intermountain W. I grew up in Bozo and I say it is definitely part of the PNW.

In Canadian BC is in the PSW , in hillbilly it's translated as PNW

No. It's in the Mountain Time Zone and not the Pacific Time Zone.

 

The question was is BOISE part of the pacific northwest. Boise is Mountain time.
