    Interesting.

Seems believable based on some of these:

    • New Colorado coming for 2014 (possibly with diesel option)
    • Ram announced a V6 diesel in their 1500 lineup for 2014
    • New Transit and Promaster commercial vans with small diesels in 2014
I'd like to see the T6 Ranger/BT-50, Navara, Amarok etc available...

Gm will sadly probably "modify" the Colorado twins and slash the payload by half to be more in line with Tacoma, Frontier etc. and to not interfere with their 1500's. VW wouldn't have this problem.

The Tacoma needs an 8 speed auto and a 7 speed manual to boost its mpg or even a diesel and some direct injection gas engines would be nice

it would be awesome if they could design a 8 or 10 speed (auto) tranny that isn't hunting for gears when your towing.
