I'm not sure what you are getting at- but this isn't a country...it's a forum with rules that are posted. The folks who don't feel like following them are in the wrong...but I'm not sure that was the direction you were going.

You tried so hard with the poltical innuendo- that I lost wth you were trying to say about the topic??

I agree with you 100%, If a person wants to mod their ride more power to them. If I don't like what they done, so be it that is my opinion and I will keep it to myself.
If you like it, GREAT and that is all that matters.

You made the joke I was going for here, but you made it better. Well done.

FWIW, I agree that people shouldn't jump on others when they're showing off their stuff... but if/when they ask for opinions, I see no problem in giving honest opinions, good or bad. No need to be a giant ass about it, but telling somebody you don't like a mod isn't offensive to me if the person asked for opinions.

There was no way I was reading through this whole thread. I knew there was a chance I'd be repeating some else but that would just add to it as I just came here to troll. :p

Even if you read the whole thing, improving on my failed attempt to equate his post with a person showing off a mod was worthy of your comment.

Oh damn, meant to post in the useless posts thread. Sorry, no effort spent on the innuendo & fully understand concept of rules in forums even tho you tried so hard to enlighten. Here, I'll act like I learnt..............Oh you're right, I didn't realize that, thanks for clearing that up! :D

Of course I condone following the rules, without them there'd just be chaos & anarchy. Rules are good as long as they apply equally to everyone.

For some of us newer guys, it can be very helpful to hear some constructive criticism. A while back I was reading a thread showing off someones new bumper

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/31752-better-pics-05-09-bumpers-finished-lol.html

I was thinking that they were the greatest bumpers that I had seen yet, until I read some criticism from oakleyTRD:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...-05-09-bumpers-finished-lol-3.html#post605792

It was mostly constructive criticism and helped me to learn a little more about what makes a good bumper (from his perspective). If he had just said "that's awesome, great mod!" it wouldn't have been nearly as helpful to me.

    Keep up the constructive criticism!

There's a big difference between constructive criticism towards a PRODUCT ***VERSUS*** constructive criticism towards a PERSON or their ideas for using such methods or mods.

It's all in the WORDING. How you word things can make a big difference.
