Has anyone put wheel spacers in the front only? My front tires are rubbing on the lower control arm. Looks like i need about 1/4 of an inch more clearance.

Yup. Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers. Old pics, but you get the idea.

Having wheel spacers on the front only kinda gives it a LT look, which looks cool.

I can't speak of any experience if there is any benefit for having them on the front only.

IMO, I prefer to be symetric, so I would prefer to have the spacers on front and back, or none at all.

Matt, what size are those tires and how long did you have the spacers in front only? Did you have any problems with that setup?

Those are 285/75/16's or 33's. 30k miles later, and they're still on my truck. The wheels I bought were not the right offset and the spokes were rubbing the calipers. Only problem I have now is one of the studs on the drivers side spacer is a "little" bent. I wheel my truck pretty hard, so it's not really under normal driving conditions. I also have a bent spindle on that side, so you can see where I'm coming from. I think the manufacturer will replace it for free for me anyway.

Other than that, as long as you apply some blue loctite to them each time you open them up, and keep them torqued correctly, they should be fine.

I've got 1.5" spacers on the front only as well to prevent rubbing UCAs. Looks and performs fine!

I'm currently running only spidertrax in the front. But I should be receiving another pair this weekend for the rear to make it match. Allthough, i haven't had any problems with rubbing or anything with the spacers. Only want the spacers to make the truck look beefier and not so skinny. I have 265/75r16 so the truck looks to skinny

I run spacers in front in conjunction with my LT kit. I have the spacers to help clear my spindle gussets other wise my tire will rub but very slightly. keep in mind tho that I'm running 35" tire..and just like the OP stated, all I need was just 1/4" more clearance. I wheel my junk like its stolen and Havnt had any issues yet with running the spacers...
