First Mods On My 2013 DC

Well I introduced myself last week in the new members section, and after owning the truck for about a week I decided to mod it a little bit. First I took the chrome toyota emblem in the front and plasti-dipped it white and added a clear coat gloss. The white is a little off but no biggie. Then I decided to de-badge the entire truck and add a short antenna. Total cost of mods today about $19

EDIT: I Plastidipped the stock trd sport rims black!

I use Pandora 90% of the time, I tested the antenna for a couple minutes driving tonight and it was ok I would say about a 10% drop in quality because I heard a little static in an area which normally doesn't get any. Definitely improved the looks though, cost about $9 from Autozone.

the white grill emblem is a good look on your white truck.

debadging doesn't do anything for me. the doors look OK...the tailgate looks lonely.

Agreed the tailgate does look a little lonely, I think for the doors if I get around to getting black door handles it will help contrast well. Thanks for looking man!

emblem looks awsome up front, but de badging a truck doesnt really appeal to my taste, more of a import car thing in my opinion.
antenna looks cool as well

 

Thanks the emblem came out pretty good for Plastidip with clear coat glossifier! The real reason I debagged it was because I tried plasti-dipping my emblems black but it came out really bad because I was in a rush lol The debagged look has grown on me, it will look better lifted I think.

The white emblem does look good. Better than everyone painting theirs black and it just blending into the black grill.

 

Truck looks great, very clean with all the emblems gone. I debadged mine the night I brought it home, looks so much cleaner.

The DCLB is growing on me, just have to get use to driving such a big vehicle compared to my old coupe bmw 335i haha
