When I was looking for new rims a buddy of mine thought I was crazy for looking at 16's and 17's. In his opinion I should have put nothing less than an 18" on my truck and preferably a 20"

It got me thinking and I thought maybe he was right. I ended up going with a 16x8 KMC XD Hoss 795 in machined and black and am extremely happy. I was worried they would look too small, but they don't and IMO they look great.

3" EZ lift kit Black from extremetrucktoys.com, Pro Comp 7089 16X8 Flat Black Wheels, Nitto 285/75/16 Tires and two full matching spares, added the UnderCover Black Composite Tonneau Cover and love it...Sabersport black headlights, Grillcraft Black mesh grille, T-Rex 2 Eyelids, will be adding Total Chaos UCAs soon from downsouth motorsports for $651.70....
hello, all of the tire and wheel places online keep telling me that none of the aftermarket 16" wheels like the KMC wheels will fit a 2nd gen taco because of the large brake calipers and they will not clear the calipers...but i see you and many others with kmc 16" wheels on your 2nd gen tacos and it works , so what are they talking about? i want to install kmc enduro xd 122 matte black wheels on my 05 taco 4x4 but i'm being told it wont work... i like 16" wheels because there are a ton of tire sizes available and the prices are good rather than buying huge expensive sizes......265 / 75/16 super swamper trxus mt tires with xd 122 matte black is what i'm planning on after i install 3" suspension lift.... let me know about the wheel fitment.... thanks..
