My sister had a pit bull (RIP) for several years and he made short work of most toys. Nylabone lasted the longest but wasn't his favorite. The largest Kong cones were what he liked, but eventually he would destroy those too. He started at the small end and would chew that section off. Then he would swallow the rubber bits and barf them up later on. Eventually he would tear the rest of it up but it took a long time. Just about any hollow ball toy or soft stuffed toy was completely out of the question. They would be useless in a manner of seconds or at most minutes.

Here he is working on a stick.

Elk antlers are the best ive found so far. Expensive, but cheaper than continuously buying toys.

Yeah, my pitbull eats those red hollow kong things too.
She's been through 3 of these.

We find the blue nylon shredded, and then the next day we find pieces of the red rubber in her poop :D
Now we only let her play with them for a little while and then put it away.

I've heard that but never tried them. Good to hear from someone who has tried them. They are pretty expensive. Maybe I'll get a buck next fall and won't have to buy any.

Kong’s are no match for one of my Great Danes he tares up tennis balls in about 15 mins. The only thing he has not been able to destroy is a lacrosse ball but he really does not like it for just that reason. A drive belt for a snow mobile is good for about a week. He drug home a moose antler and I had to take it away from after about 20 mins.

Try an Indian rubber ball, they are pretty tough. That being said there is nothing that will stop a determined pooch.
