It's easy to find the 12V switched (acc) source. The problem I see is that the Wet Okole unit itself is designed to be held in the hand and then you push the button. I guess for as often as I ever use them, I can do this, but I love hard-wiring things to be super clean and easy to use.

Has anyone attempted some kind of hack of the Wet Okole heater to get new switches or something so that they can be hard-wired in clean looking?

Below are some pics I have found, but they are not from Wet Okole so its apples to oranges. I still like how these look

This is what the Wet Okole control looks like:

I'm wanting to do the same thing.

Were you ever successful in rewiring these seat heaters?

I just ordered a set. Yeah I missed the GB, but winters coming and I couldn't wait for the next one :canada:. I'd love to know how to get a switch mounted, rather than use the handheld controller that they come with.

On another note, I think it was like $70 for delivery to Canada for just the front covers

My truck has become an electrical beast over the past few years an now im in the process of planning to rewire everything to clean it up. I was thinking of doing the same thing and putting a pair of rocker switches by the cup holders.

Im trying to calculate the proper gauge wire to support future upgrades. Does anyone know the current draw from the wet okole seat warmers?

It wouldn't be hard to dismantle those WO switches and install the tactile switches in the shifter bezel.

Have you thought about calling Wet Okale and asked them if they have any other 'switch' alternatives?

If not...You'll have to buy a switch. Cut the wet Okale wires and rewire to a new switch. But of course, you've gotta make sure the new switch is compatible.

For anyone else who's interested...this is what I did to my drivers seat.
Scroll down to the end where the electrical stuff is.
