    Great idea but not for $24.95 for 2 plugs, mine were drilled out when I bought my truck and took off the stealer plate which left 2 holes in my Desert Sand Mica bumper, but you did just give me an idea, they sell these types of nylon plugs (blk) at the parts store for about $2~3 for 4 and I have a can of spray paint that matches my truck so tomorrow........or I could leave black since I've blacked out all the chrome.
    I also don't live in a State that requires a front tag. This way if I ever do move to one that does I can just pop out the plugs.

    i should have said the magnets work great on plate bumpers. not sure if they'll work on stock. sorry. good luck

    eh...don't think it'd be that big of a deal.

    Honestly, if it's only for a couple weekends a year, the cheapest and easiest method is a pack of zip ties or even just a small bungee cord.
