UPS rant

I didn't know TW had so many UPS delivery experts on board, good to know.

 

Usually when someone has a rant about UPS it's because we broke something.So this is kind of a relief, Lol

But to answer the other questions, yes this is a UPS package, below is the email thread with UPS. their response is on top, my email to them is below.

 

Ok, I just went to UPS.com just to check the tracking number of the package, and it appears through the tracking information that UPS shipped the package, but then had the USPS, (the US postal service) deliver the package to me. Does the UPS have an arrangement with USPS to deliver packages? I live in Dallas by the way, not a small town so this seems odd to me.

If so, who has the responsibility for the package?? I'm thinking this could be the reason UPS is washing their hands of this since they only delivered the package half way, and then had the USPS deliver it to the final address.

Again, this isn't my package so I dont know the original arrangement, it just showed up on my doorstep. It has a UPS shipping label and UPS tracking number, so is UPS responsible, or USPS???

 

Yes they do have an agreement with USPS. It is called surepost or Ups basic I think. You might try having your mail carrier take the package back.
