Previous owner used to haul heavy loads, so he put an AAL on it and TRD front suspension with a lift and custom rear suspension for added weight capacity. I recently installed a tow package (Curt with lifetime warranty) So i will definitely see what this thing can handle as far as weight goes.
That's good. I am going to be very strict with my kids about learning manual FIRST. I know too many people who learned automatic first then never saw the point to learn manual and never have.

It was a must...I did the same with my 2 stepsons. Learn to drive manual then you can be anywhere in the world and still be able to drive any vehicle around.

My daughters love driving manual and my 2 stepsons promptly bought pedal stompers? Go figure:eek:

Lol, my grilfriend takes her driving test next week and has been practicing on an automatic. She promices she'll learn manual after she gets her license. That was before she drove an auto that she said that. Now that she's practiced she says she doesn't thing she has the hand-foot coordination for it. Wow right? I might have to drive somewhere and get plastered so she's forced to learn.

Jen can drive me truck just as good as me. In fact, my truck has been her daily driver for 2 months already while her truck has been in the shop. 6 speed manual with no e-brake in Cali traffic and hills.

Actually, I don't really see the point of teaching kids manual these days tho. I have owned a few manual transmission vehicles, and have been a biker my whole life. well... most of my life anyway.
Yeah, its nice to learn and fun to drive a stick, but its not really a MUST learn thing for the next generation.
Its actually hard to find a vehicle with a stick these days. Manual is not really "standard" anymore. I actually had to pay a premium on both of the acura's I bought with a manual trans.

I too agree that manuals are slowing becoming less.

Three of my"stick" cars actually has paddle shifters. Takes all the fun out of working it. :(

When the VW EOS first came out, I bought one for the wife on impulse. We only had it for 4 months, but the 2.0 turbo and DSG clutch was a lot of fun, but nothing like a real stick.
Got rid of it because I bought it for her, but she still drove my Jeep to work everyday and I was stuck with it.

I think its pretty hot. Means they took the time to learn something more difficult. I'm a big car guy so a girl showing that interest in cars is attractive. Yes, the 'entire package' is important too; this is just one aspect.

The thread didn't say "would you fuck a girl if the only thing you knew about her was that she drove stick." It says "Is it attractive?"

If your kids were being chased by zombies and the only car they could find is an old stick shift with the keys in it they would probably wish their father taught them how to drive one before blowing his head off with a 12 guage.

Lol, with all the electronic wifi crap they put in cars nowdays I feel like if the government (or another government we're fighting) wanted to they could disable all vehicles with a push of a button. I'll probably be "that" guy who keeps a lot of old cars stashed and running for if something happened like that ever happened. Lol! Plus, with new cars, you never know if later on car companies can fuck with your electronics via wifi (kinda like a virus) making you have to take it in to pay them $ to fix it. Sorry I went so far off topic... hahahaha .

Super big ones are gross and fake ones are gross.
But the sexiest freshman at my school happens to own a pair of mega melons, they gotta be like f cups or something.

On topic: I do not see any attraction to women driving manuals. I wish I knew how to drive a manual.

My lady can drive a manual trans, and actually is licensed to drive a bus. There are many things that attracted me to her, that particular set of skills makes no difference to me.

Also, WTF? I want my five minutes back.

It's a good ideal for your woman to be able to drive a manual if thats what you drive. There may be a time when you need someone to get your truck and you out of trouble if you cannot.
