Haven't done it but I would think custom brackets riveted through the plastic mirror housings and maybe large washers to back up would get the job done.

If you get the guts to do it, post up pics!

This is on an older 4Runner, but you could copy what this dude did. It looks like he put a bracket under his mirrors and mounted lights on them.

Honestly, I don't really see the point of putting them there. I would rather have them on the hood area where the wipers are like some people have done.

    They're just marker lights.

I saw one thread where a guy cut in LED's into the mirrors but have never seen a larger light mounted to the mirrors. I would rather have a front or roof mounted light bar, I don't see the point in mounting lights on the side mirrors. What happens when you need to fold the mirrors in to make a tight squeeze or when parking on a city street?

I'm not a fan of light reflection off the hood...

so I won't put lights anywhere but up front.

even overhead (roof mounted) bring deh suck for me.

    Mounted to the mirrors...
I'd think to believe they would vibrate some

    but to each their own.

I've thought about this too for side visibility when offloading in poor lighting, but I think the better idea is roof rack with 360 of lights.
