Lie about your weight to get a higher dosage while in the chair? :D

But yeah, avoid soda or wine. If the blood is continuously washed away, then it cannot clot and heal.

I know someone that doesn't have any, and I also know someone who only has one. I only have three myself- One is fully out with no problems, one is halfway out with no problems, and the third is starting to poke through. Fourth spot is empty. Lots of people are missing some/all of their wisdom teeth.

I was fine after 2 days, eating regular. some have it worse. Smashed Po Ta Toes, apple sauce, pudding are some good soft eats.

Had 6 removed when I was 19. Spent my whole winter break from school on my back. 2 on the bottom, 2 on the top and 2 above the top ones that were impacted. Hated Codeine then as I do now, so Mary Jane visited often.

They likely told me the same things, but I never listen haha. I drank soda too and survived.

I forgot about this thread haha I had absolutely no problems or pain after getting mine taken out. Although now 3 out of the 4 spots have little pockets/holes where the tooth used to be... Hopefully nothing gets lodged in there and gets an infection!

    Apparently... Haha

I'm looking up stuff about it, but all I can find is treating unhealed dry sockets because of pain.... I never had any pain and haven't had any problems since the procedure... So I don't know of anything they could do to treat it since it's just a hole that has completely healed already....

Here's what mine kind of look like. They've completely healed, so I'm not sure of what could be done.

X3, I had mine pulled last year and they cut them out in pieces. Slept all day and woke up with my pillow covered in blood. Constant pain for 3 days even with the pain pills and mine took a lot longer to heal than normal according to the doc.

I was amazed at how simple it was. The day after I had mine done, I went and bought new tires and loaded my old wheels and tires in the back of my truck haha

Have you been back to the dentist/oral surgeon and asked? It's free, get it checked out. One of these days I think they are going to limit the cleanings I get. Free clean and polished teeth=awesome.

Oh and PHS docs can be hit or miss but I've had really good luck with them the last 5 and a half years. Much better than dentists before I joined.

I had a checkup back in May, no problems at all.

The same dentist I've been using since I've been in Missouri was the same dentist that accidentally took out some of a fellow A1C's jaw bone when he pulled a tooth... Yet he's my favorite dentist I've had so far haha

Mine went great, I was knocked out and woke up in a wheelchair. No pain at all. All though I did pull a half inch long shard of tooth or bone out of the hole about 3-4 months later.

I had a crazy reaction to the meds for mine. I managed to fight off the anesthesia until after so I remember the entire thing. It also caused me to freak out/cry/scream like I was being murdered. :anonymous: I had 3 and they only got two out so I still have to get the other one. Thinking back, I wasn't in any pain. The meds just made me whack. Wish they would have finished but my dad was upset about me being in pain.

Bumping this thread because I had my wisdom teeth out on Friday. Yesterday was definitely the worst day. My pain was really bad to where I couldn't even focus. My oral surgeon said my teeth were the hardest to get out since he has been practicing. Today wasn't too bad just very sore. Now I'm just doing everything possible to not get dry socket.
