    I can't believe how much help you can get from this forum. Already ordering LEDs for the cubby in front of the cup holders and the leg areas. Way too dark in the cab of these Tacomas, but the fix seems cheap and easy. It does feel weird that I already want to drill holes in a truck that only has 350 miles on it.

    Ok, so I am new to Tacomas and new to auto electronics. I am going to be putting in 3-5 Oznium 4 chipper LEDs and plan to tap into the wires giving power to the shifter lights. Do I need to do any work with fuses or will they be fine without it?

    Here is where I am putting the lights:
    -1 in each foot well
    -1 in the cubby forward of the cupholders
    -1 in the vent behind the center console (Possibly)
    -1 or 2 in the console that I can activate with a switch (Possibly)

    Kind of like the cockpit mod in the cheap/easy thread, but I don't plan on making their own switch. I just want to have a little more light in the cab and I want it to dim with the rest of the lights.

    probably yeah, but the shifter light circuit doesn't dim, the over head light circuit does.
