Wondering if anyone has any useful info on free camping near CO Springs? I've done a bit of research and have determined Rampart Range Road is a pretty good place to start my search.

I guess at this point I just want a more concrete location in mind. Any info on Devils Kitchen or particular sites off of R.R. rd?

Are you looking for a campground? There are a couple in Rampart but that district is closed right now due to runoff/mud. I usually just go to a trail and find an appropriate camp spot.

No, not a campground. Just want to make sure there's plenty of accessable spots along Rampart Range. Also on Ormes Peak Rd. (302) near Devils Kitchen. And any specifics would be greatly appreciated.

Rampart Range Is Closed!!! Really wish I had known that before arriving at 10 pm. Found a couple nice spots along Gold Camp Rd and a really nice although somewhat questionable site out of the snow on Old Stage.
