I've got a buddy that is willing to give me a great deal on an ARB bumper. I'd first like to know if this is going to fit on my 5 lug? I'm assuming it will as most other bumpers I've seen can go from 6 to 5.

Second question...if it will fit, I know thet shear weight of it will bring my front down 1.5-2 inches, is there any stiffer/better springs for us 5 luggers that I can use to hold this weight?

    Thanks

I'd think the easies option you have would be to buy the TC mid travel kit with either the SAW or Icon coilovers. The coilovers are adjustable so maybe you could compensate for the extra weight of the bumper. You might want to talk to SAW or icon to find out if you could get the coilovers with higher spring rates if necessary.

I could be wrong, but don't we have 8 inch coils up front? If not, what are the specs of our coils? Has anyone ever tried putting say 10 inch coils on on trucks to see if it would lift it at all? Just trying to do better than a spacer, but cheaper than a coilover:eek:

If its a great deal, buy it. Try it out, if it doesnt work out, sell it. There's plenty of ppl that will buy an ARB off you.

Talked with a guy at TC and he said the best and pretty much only way is to get 2.5" springs (icons or SAWs) along with the TC UCAs.

Damn, I was hoping to try to do something like OME lift for a 5 lug. Guess it's on to the spacer for now
