...so far all photos I have taken of the Taco come from my iPhone, certainly using an iPhone helps to post and even edit a photo but makes it hard to write a whole event/story thus I was all over the place posting from newbie forum to tire forum and sometimes getting on everyone's way but that is over as I have started my own thread as intended from the beginning, so everything from proper shots to iPhone shots will be here...

...many people ask me: why a Taco? i guess people are used to see me in sports cars but sincerely I don't regret for a second driving a Taco under treacherous mexican driving conditions...

...this past Satruday i was reminded why i don't regret driving my Taco at all... its was a nice saturday, perfect weather so i decided to drive topless, well the Boxster with the top down is what i mean, i went for a nice sushi lunch and decided to take the long way back home so i take the loop around Puebla, driving normally when i see a Jetta MkIV swerving as it throws a couple of stuck together bricks at me :( these were coming at me just too fast and hit my right front tire, immediately i got a serious steering wheel shake and stop as soon as i could, no evident damage was done but i had the serious steering wheel shake so i decided to limp back home... both my Porsches are at the shop due to road hazard :(

...today i took out the cute 5 (Audi Q5) sporty with its 7 speed gearbox (its a 2012 but still got the 7 speed instead of the 8 speed ) i found out is not always geared up as the Taco, for those complaining about the Taco only having a 5 speed gearbox I can tell you that it works quite well on day to day basis specially under treacherous mexican conditions, it downshifts itself on downhills and downhills are a constant around here, its always geared up and ready to go on curvy situations, yet another constant around here, so its a joy in that respect and its only got 5 gears :D

...so today I got asked by my friend who works at the dealer what was i doing there, i told him dropping the cute 5 and he answered but you also have both your Porsches back there, right? I said correct as he answered what are you going to drive? and i answered: my Taco :D he replied a Taco??? and I said, yes and I'm happy as Tow Matter in a helicopter ride because the Taco takes all the guesswork of where and how i'm going to get there, i basically climb on the thing and drive worryless of road conditions and that is true happiness in my book :D

another reason why I bought the Taco is because initially we were a 7 kart team including my dad and my children plus a friend of my dad we partially sponsored and his grand son... so I bought this to get to the track...

all karts would go in the freightliner first and i would eventually catch up in the turbo :D

but now I am a solo racer so I decided to get the Taco to transport me and my kart to the track, so far I haven't done it but eventually :D
