I picked up my new truck last night (2013 Dbl cab OR in Mag Grey)...only 10 miles home but like it so far. Although, traded my 2011 4Runner which was the best car I ever owned. Anyway, I want to swap the rugged trails with either Revo 2's or Destination AT today. Going up one size to 265 75 16. I'm torn between these two and would appreciate (+) (-) opinions? I drive 95% hwy and hit some trails when up in northern WI...pull small boat, road trips to CO elk hunting, etc.

Want the best for noise, MPG, somewhat rugged look but not overly aggressive, even tread wear. Any opinions would be really appreciated!

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I cant tell you much about the revos. But the destinations ATs fit the the description you are looking for IMO. Quiet on the highway and good overall road manners. Not the best AT for offroading though. They did pretty well in the snow, i found them to do really well on lightly snow covered roads, like less than an inch, in deep stuff not so much.

Thank you. I was surprised that when looking at Tire Rack the Destinations are ranked #1 and the Revo 2 is #10. When I put Revo's on my 07 Taco (back in 08) they were all the rave and ranked #1. They were pretty good I thought (pre-Revo 2 design) but they did wear kinda fast and got louder after 25k. Figured the Revo 2 design probably fixed some of that.

Enjoyed my BFG A/T's more than my Revos. Better in rain, wore well, looked better, etc.

Some bilsteins, OME 885's, and an AAL.
The revos were not terrible. I didn't like them in the rain. Truck felt extremely loose. If I had to suggest and AT that I've had multiple times and got 50k out of each Time. Falken Rocky Mountain's are an awesome tire.

I recently made a mistake and didn't buy bfg at's, I recommend them for traction, wear and looks and will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Love the look of the BFG's but they are over 50 lbs and I do mostly highway driving...hoping to find something in between the all season type and the more rugged AT.

let me just stress against bfg A/T's to everyone.

They slip and slide in the rain. powersliding should not be THAT easy in 3rd gear locked....

they suck in mud, they suck in rocks, but you know what they ARE good for, the average mall crawler that wants to look aggressive :D

i hate em, and cant wait till i can slap something new on. im going to chunk them to death before i wear em out though.

I hate my destination a/t for the same exact reason. This car should not be tail happy going around an off-ramp at 50 in 3rd when it's DRY! This car drifts around turns.

Any incline in the slightest of moisture and you will be spinning the tires until at least 4th gear.

I can't wait to stick a mud terrain on there and actually get some traction off-road.

Went with the Destination A/T's. Pretty happy with them so far. They have been pretty good in the snow and are reasonably quiet on the highway. Big improvement over the rugged trails.

Thanks...only drove about 30 miles so time will tell. They are much stiffer than stock which feels good.

I have Destination A/T and have had no problems with them. We got 22 inches of snow here in 3 days in March and they performed quite nicely, no spinning or sliding, dug in when needed on road and off.
