I found a good deal on two different sets of wheels and can't decide between the two. The first is a set of Eagle Alloys, second are MB Motoring V-Drives (from a user on here). Both are 16x8. I'm leaning towards the V-Drives, but also just want to make sure they fit before I get them (will be running them on 265/75/16 BFG All Terrains on 2005 prerunner stock height).

Would most likely plasti-dip or spray can them all black, not sure which one would be easier/look better.

Let me know what you think, thanks!

Without seeing the truck I'd go with the Eagles. The V-Drives just aren't my thing. Need details like offset & backspacing to determine fit, but you should be pretty safe with the 265's.

The first ones are ok. Depending on what you are wanting to spend, I got my chrome Helo Maxx 6, 17x9, -12 OS shipped to my house for $640 from extreme custom wheels. They had everyones price beat by almost $30 a wheel and free shipping. Check their site out.

I go with the V-Drives. Not a fan of the quality of eagle wheels. I think having the contrast of some black will look better on a white truck, especially with your white/black theme.

Both are the same price, it's just about deciding which one to go with. Both are polished, but I'd most likely be plasti-dipping or spray canning them black, which the eagles might be easier to do with.

Not sure of the backspacing, but the wheels are -11mm offset. Will I have any trouble fitting these or clearing the calipers? Will -11mm offset make the tires stick out too far or no?

    Thanks for your help.

The negative 11mm offset is roughly .43". They will stick out that much further, plus half of the increased wheel width. You should not have any problems clearing calipers if the backspacing isn't something crazy.

I would go with the first one.I have always liked the solid disk look. They are old school style just like me. Not keen on the spoke style rims back in the day centerline wheels was the shit to have.

Imma keep it real and go with the first ones. $200 for a set of 4, can't beat that.

    Thanks for the input guys

Just to see how it looks I'm thinking about Plasti dipping them black. Along with the brush gaurd. If I remember, I'll post after pics so you can see the results.
