I need new inner cv boots on both sides. Is it easier to just buy new cv axles and throw the whole assembly in?

Check out CVJ axle. They do a swap out program where you can get an OEM reman axle for them and send them your old axle. You end up with an OEM product and it's pretty cheap... less than $100, if I remember.

OP: You can do what you want but I haven't seen a non-OEM axle last a season of wheeling. They break every time.

I just went to my parts store. They asked me if it has auto disconnect. They said it either has a nut on the end or a circlip. What one do I need? They are brand new and want $140 a piece and get them next day. Not worth pissing around with shipping to save 70 bucks.
