so i have to brag a little, my aunt is an incredible artist. she saw my skull hooker and ask where i got it. i told her and asked why? she sent me some photos of pencil drawings she had done on an elk skull. i knew he did paintings but had no idea she did skulls (i dont see her and my uncle much they live in idaho). long story short i had to have her do one for me so i sent her a bear skull and pictures of the bear. i asked her to draw sow with a cub since the skull with from a sow. this is what i got in the mail today.

(first is my overall collection of bear skulls)

    (now for drawn on one)

That my friend is some beautiful work. Is drawing and painting just a hobby for her. I really really like that. Drawing is one of those things that I really tried doing, but I could never get it. Its a talent that you either have or don't.

That's some cool art work, she's very talented. What kind of process did you use to clean the skulls so perfectly?

She might need to market that talent somehow. I'd bet she could fetch some nice $$$ to put murals on a plain synthetic rifle stock. If she could figure out what materials to use and a protective clear coat or whatever.
