I just bought four alloy wheels off a 2001 4Runner. Need to replace the tires. Can I replace the P265/70R16 tires with new LT245/75R16's?

Been on the list for 1 1/2 years, and this is my second question

This morning, I was first in line at our local Discount Tire to have the used 4Runner alloy wheels installed on my truck. Turns out the walls of the wheels were too thick, and rubbed on the front brakes. There was not enough threads to allow for spacers, and I had to buy new TPMS's. So I decided to just bite the bullet and buy new. I think these will make me happy.
