Last oil change I noticed this dried chunk of coolant near the head gasket, above the oil filter. I scraped it off only to have it starting again, very slowly at 1,000 mile into this oil. Is this 100% a bad head gasket? Engine runs great, oil looks fine, coolant level normal. I'm not sure this is a job that my buddy and I can tackle. Toyota said its $1100. I'm kind of stick as to what to do. Any help? What about a hometown garage instead of the dealer? Thanks
