I think the whole kit cost me around $120. Not to pricey at all. Very, very bright though! I still have to see how it looks to oncoming traffic. The lamin-x covers are pretty easy to put on. If you get the pre-cut ones, you just have to take your time and get it in the exact spot or you will be off and have to redo it. It also takes a little bit of time because you have to take off the fog light housing off the bumper. Not to bad though.

hid kits are all the same now ( made in china ) and if you look you can get them for a few bucks.... light output is just as good as an expensive hid kit

slight differance i feel obligated to mention (no hate please)

the blue tint ones that are made in china are often illegal, they put out a blue light rather than a white light that appears blue.

if you take a blank sheet of paper and shine your healights on it and it shows up clear you are safe, if it shows up blue it is technicly illegal and depending on the mood of any officers you may get a ticket

^ interesting to know. They are probably illegal because blue light has less reflective properties and is more difficult to see. You would be stupid to sacrifice light output for the blue light look.

    Those damn Chinese knock-offs!

actually it is illegal mainly for the impersonating an officer reason. in the state of nc it is illegal to be in possesion of a blue vehicle light unless you are a police officer or an authorised dealer

    $old

I won't replace the bulbs until one burns out or the beginning of hunting season, whichever comes first.

It looks like these are the yellow bulb of choice- maybe someone can chime in on other options or feedback
