Looks a lot like a Civic in the rear angle.

Looks to me like Toyota copied what Honda had going on with the anthracite wheels. Civic look better, the corolla doesn't look half bad to me though. It looks a lot better than the current corolla in my opinion.

Looks clean and a bit more aggressive than the outgoing model. Here's hoping Toyota doesn't screw it up with a TRD package with tacky skirts, lip spoilers, etc.

Word is though they are still using a 1.8l 4cyl with 132hp 4spd automatic.Doesnt Toyota believe in updating the engines in new vehicles.

I am hoping they updated it, but they like to keep there engines around until the numbers are brutally outdated.

    ^Do you prefer the predator-mouthed 2014 4Runner front end instead? :p

The ones on the bottom right are probably as close to 5 spoke as they will put on these things. They look pretty good to me.

European version with different front-end plastic and sheetmetal. Note the hood extends over the fender crease. There seems to be parking sensors in the front bumper. Everything aft of the A-pillars seems common with the N.A. version.

The new Corolla is almost 4" longer than the old one, all of it having gone into the wheelbase. I think the rear seats will have a lot more legroom now.

    looks nothing like a civic.

looks like a korean dodge dart.

and they did upgrade the motor. there will be a 140 horse, CVT driven option.

butt ugly IMO, i'd rather drive a Ford Focus. (and i used to drive a Matrix, and love Toyota cars/sedans otherwise)

I think both the Focus and Corolla are styled to be bland and non-offensive. I prefer the N.A. Corolla look slightly because it has some resemblence with the Tesla S and Scion FR-S. The wheel archs show some Nissan influence as well.
