    Extremely reliable.

My dad's best friend has an original Toyota pickup that has over 400,000 miles on it and it still runs great.

My truck just rolled 200,000km. In that time its needed an idler pulley and a couple serpentine belts. The 7 year old battery is even the original. I changed the headlight bulbs once because the passenger side burnt out at something like 185,000km, all the other bulbs are original.

As far as fluid leaks go, I have no signs what so ever, not even residue.

When I want to chase down a sound as engine is running, I use a broom handle against the questionable object and press the other end to my ear. Amazing what bearings sound like. No, I don't but the broom to my ear.....just a blank broom handle.

I'm on my fifth Toyota truck. The first was a 74 long bed, then a 86 4WD short bed 4Cyl, a 94 access cab 4WD (I put 175K on that one. It had a small V6), a 2WD 2005 Tundra with a 4L V6, access cab, and now my 12 Dbl cab SR5 4WD V6. The only major repair on any of these trucks was a water pump on the 86. As I am a much more sedate 65 year old now, but some of the earlier trucks got some hard use. That's about 35 years of testimonial from me!

Total props to your off roading skills Erik. Put you in a Jeep and you'd be doing to same thing -although maybe laying underneath it a bit more when you got home. Do you even have sliders on that truck? I didn't see them. That's ballsy as hell driving through some of that stuff even with'em. Have you thought about droppin' your tire pressure more? Beautiful vid man.
