Excellent link. People that buy bargain gasoline from grocery stores and the like just don't understand... Yes people, there is a difference in brands of gasoline!!!
My truck sees Shell V-Power exclusively. No ethanol, world class additives.

100% agree and I run the exact same in my truck exclusively. Cost a bit more but I personally believe it is worth it.

I also appreciate how particular you are with the care & maintenance of your truck. Your post about "Does your 30,000 mile truck look like this?" was excellent. If I didn't live in Canada, 3 miles from the pavement (I only do 12 mph on the gravel, BTW) my truck would also look like that. I use it sparingly, so only a handful of chips & no swirl marks in the paint!

Whiplash, is Shell V-Power ethanol free in Canada only? There is no mention of it being ethanol free on the US website....

It's ethanol free everywhere, I think. Up here, the only high octane that is ethanol laced is from Husky I believe
They don't push the stuff up here as much because we only have a 3 month window where we actually get "summer" fuel. Ethanol doesn't light in the depths of winter...

I don't believe any of this BS. Not for a minute do I believe that companies are changing formulas for different deliveries. Just not cost effective. Just my 2 cents.

It's interesting that it comes out of the ground at just a few places but by the time it gets to the gas station it is magically transformed into some thing else.

It's not new, it's not Mexico
It's true! All gasoline comes from the same refinery. It get delivered to the station in different trucks to fool the consumer. Plus, there's only ONE underground tank at the gas station for all three grades!

That's my dad! He owned a gas station with 5 mechanic bays growing up. He swears that all gas is the same and that they even come out to test it and if its not in spec they add stuff to it.

    Is that the 94 octane?
I run 94 from chevron, it is the only one I've seen labelled ethanol free.
