Hey all I just ordered some black Mickey Thompson classic locks and I was thinking about powder coating the "beadlock" rings orange to match my halos like in this picture below. Amber is legal to drive with here in louisiana and is the color i drive around with most of the time. Nothing bright and tacky just to match. But before doing it I wanted to see what the TW community thought because I respect the opinions of most of the knowledgable people on here. Just to help picture it they will be going along with 285 Baja MTZs and a 3" OME lift.

Thanks. This pic is a little bit older. I've removed the side steps, mud flaps and did the CMC already. I will see what other trimming I need to do at install. I also have LR UCAs to install.

Great looking truck. I really dig the lights!

Orange Beadlocks?? Hmmmm... I dunno... Might be a bit much. I would just have to see them first I guess. I don't think it would be my style as I tend to go for a more subtle approach. If you like it though that is all that matters.

You can always repaint if you change halo color! I would do it!

Haha and it looks sick on your truck. I have a friend that powdercoats so itll be easy for me to change it if I dont like it. But its hard to drive with any other color because of the cops around here. The only other thing I can think of is to do them super white that way they will go with any color halos. Ill probably get him to do one of each and see what I like the best and go from there.
